The second crossover episode with SVU, “An Inferior Product,” dropped a huge bombshell on who was really responsible for Kathy`s death. In a shock to Elliot and the audience, it became known that Angela Wheatley (Tamara Taylor), Richard Wheatley`s (Dylan McDermott) ex-wife, had ordered Kathy to be beaten. Second, the actors of Law & Order: Organized Crime discovered Elliot`s ID card in the safe of Rafik`s (Angela`s son) warehouse. Richard`s security guard, Isaak Becker, who turned into a confidential informant, revealed to Elliot that Angela ordered the car bombing that killed his wife. She wanted to make him suffer because she was the love of his life and he had to live with it. What did she have against him? On Reddit, one fan wrote: “I`ve seen all the episodes now and I still don`t understand. why Kathy was killed. Before working with Olivia Benson in 1999, Elliot dated Jo Marlowe (his first partner), Pete Breslin, Dave Rosetti and “Old Fatso” Alfonse. The relationship between Jo and Kathy is unknown, but Jo asked Olivia if she and Elliot had ever slept together, which Olivia denied and said he was married and loved his wife very much. Pete remembered Kathy, but after several years without contact, he didn`t know that Elliot and Kathy were separated. Dave Rosetti committed suicide and “Old Fatso” retired to Florida when Olivia joined SVU and became Elliot`s partner.

Essentially, Kathleen was killed in revenge for a misunderstanding. Sacha Lenski was a gangster who murdered Elliot Stabler`s wife, Kathy Stabler, on the orders of Richard Wheatley. Elliot confronts Bekhar, who has become an informant, and asks him why Richard wanted to kill his wife. But in a shocking twist, Bekhar reveals that Richard`s ex-wife, Angela Wheatley (Tamara Taylor), ordered the beating. First, the SVU case led the troupe to a counterfeit version of the purple magic of gangster Richard Wheatley (Dylan McDermott). Simon was caught in the middle of a group of women who were targeting wealthy men because of his friend. Then new evidence links Richard`s right-hand man, Izak Bekher (Ibrahim Renno), to the bombing that killed Stabler`s wife, Kathy (Isabel Gillies). But when the Task Force confronted Izak, who now works as a mole for them, he shocked Steiner by revealing that Richard was not the one ordering his wife`s death. The gangster`s ex-wife, Angela (Tamara Taylor), who became close to Stabler in this episode and whom he kissed, did it! Sacha Lenski (Jess Barbagallo), a contract mobster, was killed in prison before he can name who hired him to kill Kathy.

Izak Bekher (Ibrahim Renno), the bodyguard of Richard Wheatley (Dylan McDermott), Angela`s ex-husband, reveals that Angela ordered the beating. Richard had made her believe that Elliot was responsible for her son`s death, and she had decided that she wanted him to suffer as she had. In a cruel irony, she finally discovers that Richard is the one who killed her son for copying his drug. We wanted to find out the truth about what Stabler was going through. It seemed almost irresponsible not to tell this story, given who he is, all the things he went through in his life. We`ve talked to many police officers who have worked in these areas to get a sense of how likely someone like Stabler is to have PTSD or how likely they are not. It is extremely unlikely that he does not suffer from some kind of PTSD. Given that he saw his wife murdered before his eyes, the intensity of what it entails seemed to explore richly and, as I said, irresponsible, not to explore. Reddit fans have rounded up all the parts of season 1 of the hit spin-off series.

Why was Kathy Stabler killed before the pilot and how did it all fall into place? After 20 years of marriage, Kathy filed for separation and moved in with the children to live with her mother. Kathy eventually filed for divorce, but Elliot hadn`t signed the divorce papers because he had them at home. He wouldn`t talk to her or her lawyer about signing the papers until he was involved in a case in which a couple insulted each other, accused one of rape and set the other on fire while he was in a bitter divorce and custody battle. Elliot realized that love can turn into hatred and that people are capable of doing terrible things to someone they loved. He didn`t want Kathy to hate him, so he signed the divorce papers. However, after Elliot nearly lost his job for allegedly murdering a young man, he went to Kathy and wanted to go home because he didn`t want to lose his family. Kathy gave him another chance to start things slowly, have a drink to talk about their future, and spend more time with their children. One night, Elliot was on the case of a deceased woman who was murdered and discovered that she had a love affair with a married man who had three children. Later, Elliot and Olivia discovered the bodies of the woman and children, which shook Elliot and led him to watch over his sleeping children. That night, Elliot and Kathy became intimate.

Two months later, Kathy confronted Elliot that he wanted to move home, but instead, something had changed for Kathy, who no longer cared about her ego or pride, she wanted Elliot to come home because she was pregnant with her child. Elliot was shocked by the news of the pregnancy, but decided to move anyway. Ever since Kathy was blown up by a car bomb in episode 1, Elliot has been obsessed with finding out who exactly is responsible for his wife`s death. Richard (Dylan McDermott) lied to Angela (Tamara Taylor) and told her that Elliot killed Rafik instead of Richard himself, so Angela retaliated against Elliot based on that lie. Elliot had a vague knowledge of the Wheatley family through his work in Italy. (sic) Stabler investigated his wife`s murder with the help of Lt. Marv Moennig, technology expert Jet Slootmaekers, Sgt. Ayanna Bell and the rest of the Organized Crime Control Office. (OK: “What`s going on in Puglia”) After Kathy`s death, Elliot goes to work undercover, although he has to deal with PTSD after the brutal death of his wife. At one point, while on drug addiction, he manages to get to Olivia`s apartment to discuss the letter he gave her, which said that what they were to each other was never real, and that they pitted each other against each other to “be each other, who and where we needed to be.” In his numb mist, he tells her that Kathy wrote the letter, and the only line that came from him was the part that said, “In a parallel universe, it will always be you and me.” He adds: “I wrote this.

I put it there before sealing the envelope” (according to TV Insider). Kathy`s death hits Elliot very hard, especially when he thought it was her job that had killed her. Her work had played a big role in her marital problems – and Kathy`s departure – because of her tendency to interfere in her affairs and withdraw from her. Her death is also the trigger for his decision to stay in New York and join the NYPD`s new Office of Organized Crime Control to seek justice for Kathy. Throughout the life of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, there has always been a group of fans who clearly want to see Captain Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) as a couple. Although Elliot is married to his wife Kathy (Isabel Gillies) and even has children, the group calling for a Stabler Benson romance has grown bigger and stronger over the years. When Stabler and his wife split in season six, fans became even more optimistic. but instead of Olivia, he briefly became romantic with his new partner Dani Beck before reconciling with Kathy. Since the first one, it`s obvious that Angela is somehow involved in the shadier side of things, at least more than [Richard`s] wife Pilar [Shauna Harley]. What can you say about his involvement and how you want to reveal it? But something happened that stopped the shipping calls for Olivia and Elliot when a car bomb killed Kathy and launched Meloni`s new show, “Law & Order: Organized Crime.” Elliot Stabler`s first thought when his wife dies is that it was his fault.

He had investigated organized crime during his time in Rome and was convinced that it was the real target. While mourning Kathy, he grows closer to Angela Wheatley (Tamara Taylor), whose son was killed. Angela comforts Elliot and even brings food for her son Eli when she realizes that the only thing they seem to be eating is fast food. From the beginning of the series, it was believed that the assassin, Sacha Lenski, had been hired by the versatile crime boss Richard Wheatley (Dylan McDermott), with Stabler (Christopher Meloni) as the intended target. However, as we learned in the April 22 episode, the hit was actually meant for Kathy. Organized crime followed this bombshell with another shocking twist: Angela Wheatley (Tamara Taylor) ordered Kathy to be beaten. Stabler and Kathy went through some rough times after the birth of their son, when their daughter Kathleen was arrested again for burglary and theft before being diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which she had inherited from her grandmother Bernadette Stabler (with whom Kathy had a close relationship). Stabler went into his old ways of not contacting Kathy before their breakup, and didn`t inform her of his undercover mission.
